Who we are
From our operating base in Ashington, Northumberland, we provided full LOLER inspections for an assortment of machines and lifting equipment, as well as fabrication, mechanical and hydraulic repairs, and engineering. We offer a one-stop solution for all lifting equipment and general plant hire in North East England. All aspects of repair and refurbishment of Forklifts, Access Platforms and Plant undertaken.
Mechanical & Hydraulic Engineering
We work with a wide range of clients in the construction and civil engineering market to provide a complete mechanical and hydraulic service. We design, manufacture, refurbish and repair. We also supply power packs, cylinders, hoses, fittings, gearboxes and motors, as well as having the facilities to carry out both on and off-site hose swaging.

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment
Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
It is a statutory requirement that all lifting equipment (including chains, straps, shackles and hooks) is annually tested and certified as safe and fit for purpose. The period for testing any lifting equipment on which persons ride is six months.
Provision and Use of Work
Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) These Regulations place duties on people and companies who own, operate or have control over work equipment. PUWER also places responsibilities on businesses and organisations whose employees use work equipment, whether owned by them or not.
Under health and safety legislation it is your responsibility to ensure that the necessary inspections are carried out NE Attachments will inspect, test and certify your equipment, and carry out any necessary repairs.. We offer a full service, and will log all testing results, and issue timely reminders when the testing of your equipment is due.
The full regulations are long and involved. We will gladly visit your site and advise as to what needs testing, and at what intervals. for a full and comprehensive survey, or to book testing.
